Volume 1 Parashat Vayikra ( Leviticus 1 : 1 - 6 : 7 )


וַיִּקְרָא — Hebrew for "and He called,"

The parashah lays out the laws of sacrifices (קָרְבָּנוֹת, korbanot). It constitutes Leviticus 1:1–5:26 (1:1–6:7 in the King James Version).



Volume 2 Parashat Tzav ( Leviticus 6 : 8 - 8 : 36 )


צַו — Hebrew for "command,"

The parashah teaches how the priests performed the sacrifices and describes the ordination of Aaron and his sons. The parashah constitutes Leviticus 6:1–8:36 (6:8–8:36 in the KJV).



Volume 3 Parashat Shemini ( Leviticus 9 : 1 - 11 : 47 )


שְּׁמִינִי — Hebrew for "eighth,"

Parashah Shemini tells of the consecration of the Tabernacle, the deaths of Nadab and Abihu, and the dietary laws of kashrut (כַּשְׁרוּת).



Volume 4 Parashat Tazria ( Leviticus 12 : 1 - 13 : 59 )


תַזְרִיעַ — Hebrew for "she conceives",

The parashah deals with ritual impurity.



Volume 5 Parashat Metzora ( Leviticus 14 : 1 - 15 : 33 )


מְצֹרָע — Hebrew for "one being diseased,"

The parashah deals with ritual impurity. It addresses cleansing from skin disease (צָּרַעַת, tzara'at), houses with an eruptive plague, male genital discharges, and menstruation.



Volume 6 Parashat Acharei Mot ( Leviticus 16 : 1 - 18 : 30 )


אַחֲרֵי מוֹת, Hebrew for "after the death"

The parashah sets forth the law of the Yom Kippur ritual, centralized offerings, blood, and sexual practices.



Volume 7 Parashat Kedoshim ( Leviticus 19 : 1 - 20 : 27 )


קְדֹשִׁים — Hebrew for "holy ones,"

The parashah tells of the laws of holiness and ethical behavior, repeats the ten commandments, and describes penalties for sexual transgressions.



Volume 8 Parashat Emor ( Leviticus 21 : 1 - 24 : 23 )


אֱמֹר — Hebrew for "speak,"

The parashah describes purity rules for priests (Hebrew: כֹּהֲנִים, Kohanim), recounts the holy days, describes the preparations for the lights and bread in the sanctuary, and tells the story of a blasphemer and his punishment.



Volume 9 Parashat Behar ( Leviticus 25 : 1 - 26 : 2 )


בְּהַר — Hebrew for "on the mount,"

The parashah tells the laws of the Sabbatical year (שמיטה, Shmita) and limits on debt servitude.



Volume 10 Parashat Bechukotai ( Leviticus 26 : 3 - 27 : 34 )


בְּחֻקֹּתַי bəḥuqqōṯay — Hebrew for "by my decrees,"

The parashah addresses blessings for obeying the law, curses for disobeying it, and vows.
