Transparency Report: Production & Content Disclosure

Project Title: Devarim/ Deuteronomy: The Torah With Graphic Storytelling (New Revised Edition)

Volumes Included: Contents of all 11 volumes, starting with Volume 1: Parashat Devarim (Deut. 1:1 - 3:22)

1. Content Overview

This publication is part of a 54-volume project to visualize the entire Torah (4,993 verses). Volume 1 (Devarim) covers the Hebrew opening for "words" or "things," meticulously illustrating:

  • The appointment of tribal chiefs.

  • The pivotal mission of the Twelve Spies.

  • Encounters with the Edomites and Ammonites.

  • The historic conquests of Kings Sihon and Og.

  • The land assignments for the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half-Manasseh.

2. Visual Production Methodology (AI & Heritage Integration)

As the author/curator, I prioritize transparency in how these visual narratives are constructed:

  • AI-Enhanced Reconstruction: We utilize advanced Generative AI (Nano Banana/Gemini models) to reconstruct geographically accurate landscapes of the Sinai Peninsula and Transjordan, as well as period-specific architectural details.

  • Historical Archive Curation: We integrate classic, public-domain biblical engravings and historical illustrations to maintain a reverent connection to centuries of sacred art.

  • Human-Centric Curation: Every image is hand-selected and edited to ensure a 1:1 correspondence with the biblical verses. The AI is used as a tool for "visual exegesis," not as a replacement for theological study.

3. Educational & Ethical Commitment

  • Source Integrity: The text follows the Hebrew structure of the Torah portions (Parashot) to ensure authenticity for students of the Bible.

  • Copyright Compliance: All non-AI elements are sourced from the public domain or licensed for commercial use.

  • Mission: This project was born from the author's personal struggle to visualize the text. It aims to lower the barrier for Bible literacy globally, making the "distant past" a "vivid present."
