The Book of Genesis is the first book of the Torah.
Bereshit (Genesis 1:1–6:8):
1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
1:1はじめに神は天と地とを創造された。
Noach (Genesis 6:9–11:32):
6:9 This is the history of the generations of Noah: Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. Noah walked with God.
6:9ノアの系図は次のとおりである。ノアはその時代の人々の中で正しく、かつ全き人であった。ノアは神とともに歩んだ。
Lech-Lecha (Genesis 12:1–17:27):
12:1 Now Yahweh said to Abram, “Leave your country, and your relatives, and your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you.
